Laura Pyper is a Northern Irish actress. She was born in 1980 in Magherafelt, County Derry, and studied English and Drama at Trinity College, Dublin.

Pyper made her film debut as Lin in *Reign of Fire* (2002). On television she is known for playing Ella Dee in the second series of *Hex* (2005), Jane Fairfax in the BBC adaptation of *Emma* (2009), and guest roles in *The IT Crowd* (2006), *Luther* (2010) and *Father Brown* (2013). She provided the voice of Lexine Murdoch in the video game *Dead Space: Extraction* (2009).

Her theatre work includes Cressida in the Shakespeare's Globe production of *Troilus and Cressida* (2009) and appearances at the Donmar Warehouse and Menier Chocolate Factory.
