Lauren Lee Smith is a Canadian actress. She was born on 19 June 1980 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Smith began her career in modelling before moving into acting. She made her film debut in *Get Carter* (2000) and appeared in *Trick 'r Treat* (2007), *Pathology* (2008), *If I Stay* (2014) and *The Shape of Water* (2017) as Elaine Strickland. On television she has played Emma DeLauro in *Mutant X*, Lara Perkins in *The L Word*, Riley Adams in *CSI: Crime Scene Investigation* and the title role in *Frankie Drake Mysteries*.

She has also worked as a producer, including on the film *Cinemanovels* (2013).
