Lauren Montgomery is an American animator, director, producer and writer. Born on 4 May 1980 in Los Angeles, she began her career as a storyboard artist on the animated series *He-Man and the Masters of the Universe* (2002–2004).

She is known for her extensive work in DC Comics animation, including directing several direct-to-video films such as *Superman: Doomsday* (2007), *Wonder Woman* (2009), *Batman: Year One* (2011) and *Justice League: Doom* (2012). Montgomery served as supervising producer and storyboard artist on *The Legend of Korra* (2012–2014) and as executive producer and showrunner on *Voltron: Legendary Defender* (2016–2018). She directed the animated feature *Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender* (2026).
