Lauren Weedman is an American actress, comedian and writer. Born on 5 March 1969, she began her career in theatre in Seattle, creating and performing solo shows including *Homecoming*, *BUST* and *The People's Republic of Portland*.

She is known for her regular role as Doris in the HBO series *Looking* (2014–2015) and its follow-up film *Looking: The Movie*, and for recurring appearances in *Hacks* (2021–), for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. Her other television credits include *The Daily Show* (as correspondent, 2001–2002), *True Blood*, *New Girl*, *Arrested Development* and *2 Broke Girls*. Film roles include *Date Night* (2010) and *The Five-Year Engagement* (2012).

In 2025 she appeared as Patrice in the series *Sirens*.
