## Biography

Lawrence Hertzog was an American television writer and producer. Born on 25 June 1951 in Flushing, Queens, New York, he grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey, and briefly attended NYU Film School before moving to Los Angeles.

He wrote for series including *Hart to Hart*, *Hardcastle and McCormick*, *seaQuest DSV*, *Walker, Texas Ranger*, *Profiler* and *La Femme Nikita*. Hertzog created the series *Nowhere Man* (1995–1996) and wrote one episode of *24* (2002). He also produced episodes of *Stingray* and *Nowhere Man*. Hertzog died of cancer in Los Angeles on 19 April 2008.
