Lee Armstrong is a British actor, writer and director from Wideopen, a village near Newcastle upon Tyne. He worked as an actor for ten years, appearing in film and television, before moving into writing and directing.

His acting credits include the role of a Grenadier in *Dunkirk* (2017), Dr Kevin McNulty in *Call the Midwife* (2020), Varnum in *The Nevers* (2021), Dillon Faulkner in *Midsomer Murders* (2016), and appearances in *Endeavour*, *Vera* and *Coronation Street*.
