## Biography

Lee Kyoung-mi (Korean: 이경미) is a South Korean film director and screenwriter. She was born in December 1973.

She graduated from the Korea National University of Arts with a major in filmmaking in 2004. Her feature directorial debut was the black comedy *Crush and Blush* (2008), which she also wrote; it was the first film produced by Park Chan-wook, for whom she had previously worked as script supervisor on *Lady Vengeance* (2005). She won Best New Director and Best Screenplay at the Blue Dragon Film Awards for the film.

Her other directing credits include the thriller *The Truth Beneath* (2016) and the Netflix series *The School Nurse Files* (2020). She co-wrote the screenplay for *No Other Choice* (2025) with Park Chan-wook, Don McKellar and Jahye Lee.
