## Biography

Lee Minoff (1934–2022) was an American writer and producer. He wrote the original story treatment for the 1968 animated film *Yellow Submarine* and received a co-writing credit on the screenplay with Al Brodax, Jack Mendelsohn and Erich Segal.

Minoff worked as a unit publicist on *The Leopard* (1963) and as an assistant to Stanley Kubrick on *Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb* (1964). He also wrote the play *Come Live With Me*, staged on Broadway in 1967.
