## Biography

Lee Mo-gae is a South Korean cinematographer. He studied photography at Chung-Ang University and completed a master’s degree in film at the Korea National University of Arts. He worked on film crews for projects including *Peppermint Candy* (2000) before his feature debut as director of photography on *A Tale of Two Sisters* (2003).

He has collaborated repeatedly with director Kim Jee-woon on *The Good, the Bad, the Weird* (2008), *I Saw the Devil* (2010) and later films. Other credits include *The Flu* (2013), *The Battleship Island* (2017), *Emergency Declaration* (2022), *Hunt* (2022), *12.12: The Day* (2023) and *Exhuma* (2024). He has won awards for cinematography including an Asia Pacific Screen Award for *The Good, the Bad, the Weird* and multiple Blue Dragon Film Awards.
