Lennart Malmer is a Swedish cinematographer and director. Born in Solna in 1941, he has worked across multiple roles in documentary filmmaking, including as director, producer, sound recordist, editor and composer.

He is credited as cinematographer on *Hearts and Minds* (1974). Malmer has directed and photographed numerous documentaries, often addressing political and social themes such as the Vietnam War, decolonisation in Africa and Swedish cultural movements. His credits include *Den vita sporten* (1968), *Vi har vår egen sång – musikfilmen* (1976) and *Sista varningen!* (1980).
