## Biography

Leo Trombetta is a film and television editor. He began by making his own 8mm films as a child and later worked as a sound editor on features including films directed by Spike Lee, Brian De Palma and Sidney Lumet. He moved into picture editing with the 1993 feature *Amongst Friends* and has since edited more than a dozen films and numerous television series.

Trombetta edited episodes of *Mad Men* (2007–2012) and received an Emmy nomination for the series. He won a Primetime Emmy and an ACE Eddie for editing the HBO film *Temple Grandin* (2010). Other credits include *Little Children* (2006), *True Detective* (2019), *The Outsider* (2020), *13 Reasons Why* (2017–2018) and *Narcos*.

A graduate of Temple University’s School of Theater, Film and Media Arts (1979), Trombetta is a member of the American Cinema Editors.
