He is known for playing Lester Hodges in the television series *Harry O* (1974–1976) and Sergeant Casper in the film *Southern Comfort* (1981). Other credits include the miniseries *Centennial* (1978), the film *Silkwood* (1983), and guest roles in series such as *Columbo*, *The X-Files* and *ER*.
