Leslie Fenton was an English-born American actor and film director. He appeared in more than sixty films between 1923 and 1945, and directed nineteen films between 1938 and 1951.

Born in Liverpool, Lancashire, England, on 12 March 1902, Fenton moved to the United States with his mother and brothers as a child. He worked as an office clerk before moving to New York, where he began a stage career. His film work began with Fox Studios.

Fenton is known for roles including Samuel 'Nails' Nathan in *The Public Enemy* (1931) and Dan Farrow in *Boys Town* (1938). He later directed films such as *Whispering Smith* (1948) and *Streets of Laredo* (1949). He was married to actress Ann Dvorak from 1932 until their divorce in 1945, and died in Montecito, California, on 25 March 1978.
