Lewis Cope is an English actor and dancer. Born on 19 March 1995 in Hartlepool, County Durham, he began his career as a child actor, appearing in the West End production of *Billy Elliot the Musical* as Michael from 2008. He later trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.

Cope gained prominence for his role as Nicky Miligan in the ITV soap opera *Emmerdale* from 2022 to 2024. He has also appeared in *Vera* (2021) as Marcus Hynde, *Hetty Feather* (2019), *Doctors* (2019) and *Mrs Sidhu Investigates* (2023). In 2025 he competed as a contestant on *Strictly Come Dancing*, finishing fifth with partner Katya Jones.

His television credits include the lead role of Kaden Barrie in the Channel 5 series *Forever Home* (2026). He received a nomination for the National Television Award for Rising Star in 2023.
