Greifer wrote for numerous British television series from the 1950s to the 1970s. His credits include the 1961 film Cash on Demand, the 1967 series The Prisoner (episode 'The General'), and the initial draft of the Doctor Who story Pyramids of Mars (1975), later rewritten by Robert Holmes.
