## Biography

Liam Williams is an English comedian, actor and writer. Born in March 1988 in Garforth, Yorkshire, he studied English at the University of Cambridge, where he was a member of Footlights, and began performing stand-up at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

He is a member of the sketch troupe Sheeps and was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2013 Edinburgh Comedy Awards and for Best Show at the 2014 awards. His acting credits include Oscar in the Channel 4 series *Stath Lets Flats* (2018), Nathan in *Back to Life* (2019), Ben in *Friday Night Dinner* (2011), and a voice role in *Don't Hug Me I'm Scared* (2022). He created and starred in the BBC series *Ladhood* and *Pls Like*.
