## Biography

Libero Solaroli was an Italian film producer and production manager. He produced Luchino Visconti's debut feature *Ossessione* (1943), also known as *Obsession*, for Industrie Cinematografiche Italiane.

Earlier in his career he worked as an assistant director and editor on several films, including *Rubacuori* (1931) and *Corte d'assise* (1930). He later contributed screenplays, among them *Io, io, io... e gli altri* (1965).
