## Biography

Lila Byock is a television writer and producer. She wrote episodes of *Watchmen* (2019) and *The Leftovers* (2014), and also contributed to *Castle Rock* (2018) and *Manhattan* (2014). She has worked as a supervising producer on *Watchmen* and co-producer on *Castle Rock*.

Byock earned an MFA in fiction from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and spent five years on the editorial staff of *The New Yorker* before moving into television. Her work has received an Emmy Award and Writers Guild of America awards. She is married to writer Sam Shaw.
