## Biography

Lili Fini Zanuck (née Fini) is an American film producer and director. Born on 2 April 1954 in Leominster, Massachusetts, she began her career working at the Zanuck/Brown Company after moving to Los Angeles. She married producer Richard D. Zanuck in 1978; he died in 2012.

Zanuck received her first producing credit on *Cocoon* (1985). With her husband she formed The Zanuck Company in 1988; their first production was *Driving Miss Daisy* (1989), which won four Academy Awards including Best Picture. She directed the feature *Rush* (1991) and an episode of the miniseries *From the Earth to the Moon* (1998).

Her other producing credits include *Cocoon: The Return* (1988), *Rich in Love* (1992), *Mulholland Falls* (1996), *True Crime* (1999) and *Reign of Fire* (2002). She later directed the documentary *Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars* (2017) and served as executive producer on *Bessie* (2015).
