Liliane de Kermadec (6 October 1928 – 13 February 2020) was a Polish-French film director, screenwriter and producer. Born in Warsaw, she worked as a set photographer on films including Agnès Varda’s *Cléo from 5 to 7* (1962), Alain Resnais’s *Muriel* (1963) and Yves Robert’s *Bébert et l’omnibus* (1963).

She directed her first feature, *Home Sweet Home*, in 1972 (also given as 1973), followed by *Aloïse* (1975). Both were screened at the Cannes Film Festival. She produced Chantal Akerman’s *Jeanne Dielman, 23, quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles* (1975) and directed more than twenty films and documentaries between 1965 and 2016, including *La piste du télégraphe* (1994).
