## Biography

Lillian West (born Mildred West) was an American actress who appeared in more than 100 films between 1916 and 1958. She began a stage career in her teens under the name Lillian West and toured the American Midwest in Texas Sweethearts in 1908 before moving into silent pictures.

She is credited as Arlette in the 1927 film *7th Heaven*. Among her later roles, many uncredited, were appearances in *You Only Live Once* (1937), *Twentieth Century* (1934), *Where Danger Lives* (1950), *East of Eden* (1955) and *Notorious* (1946).
