## Biography

Linton Chiswick is a British television writer. He contributed an episode to the Channel 4 series *Teachers* in 2004 and has written for *Waterloo Road* (BBC, 2009) and *Paradise Cafe* (BBC, 2009).

Since 2010 he has been a regular writer on the ITV soap *Emmerdale*, contributing more than 220 episodes. Earlier in his career he worked as a journalist, writing for newspapers including the *Times*, *Financial Times*, *Guardian* and *Independent*, and presented radio programmes on jazz and contemporary music for BBC Radio 3.
