Linus Roache is an English actor. He was born on 1 February 1964 in Manchester and is the son of actor William Roache. He began acting as a child with appearances in *Coronation Street* and later worked extensively in theatre before returning to screen roles in the 1990s.

His film credits include *Priest* (1994), *The Wings of the Dove* (1997), *Pandaemonium* (2000), *The Chronicles of Riddick* (2004), *Batman Begins* (2005) as Thomas Wayne, *Non-Stop* (2014) and *Mandy* (2018). On television he has played Michael Cutter in *Law & Order* and *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit*, King Ecbert in *Vikings* and David Wellington in *Homeland*.
