## Biography

Lisa Sturz is an American puppeteer and performer. She is credited as playing Howard T. Duck in the 1986 film *Howard the Duck*.

Sturz has worked on several Muppet productions, including additional Muppet performer credits on *The Muppets Take Manhattan* (1984), *Muppet*vision 3-D* (1991), *Muppets from Space* (1999) and *The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland* (1999). She founded Red Herring Puppets in 1988, a company that creates and tours puppet shows.

She holds a BA from Grinnell College, an MA from the University of Connecticut and an MFA in Puppetry from UCLA.
