Liu Chi-Yu, also credited as Lau Kwai-Yau or 劉季友, was a Hong Kong costume designer active from the mid-1960s to the mid-1980s. He worked primarily on Shaw Brothers productions and is credited with costume design or wardrobe on more than 250 films.

His credits include *The 36th Chamber of Shaolin* (1978), *The Five Venoms* (1978), *Return to the 36th Chamber* (1980), *Five Element Ninjas* (1982), *The 8 Diagram Pole Fighter* (1984) and *Disciples of the 36th Chamber* (1985). He received Golden Horse Awards for best costumes for *Tiger Killer* (1982) and *An Amorous Woman of Tang Dynasty* (1984), with a further nomination for the latter film.
