## Biography

Liv McNeil is a Canadian filmmaker and actor. While a grade 9 student in 2020, she directed, produced, shot, edited and starred in the short film *Numb*, which examined the effects of COVID-19 lockdown on teenagers' mental health.

Sarah Polley saw *Numb* and subsequently cast McNeil as Neitje in the film *Women Talking* (2022). McNeil's original artwork also features in the production. She later directed the behind-the-scenes short *The Making of Priscilla* (2023).
