## Biography

Liz Alper is a television writer and producer. Her credits include writing for *Hawaii Five-0* (2010), where she also served as executive story editor on 25 episodes in 2017–2018; *Chicago Fire* (2012), as story editor and writer on multiple episodes between 2015 and 2017; and *The Rookie* (2018), as writer and co-producer.

She began her career as a writers’ assistant on *House M.D.* and later worked as a showrunner’s assistant for David Shore and as a script coordinator on *Monday Mornings*. Alper is a graduate of Emerson College and originally from Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She has also written episodes of *Two Sentence Horror Stories* and *Day of the Dead*.

Alper co-founded the #PayUpHollywood initiative and has served on the Writers Guild of America West board of directors.
