Liz Cackowski is an American actress, comedian and comedy writer. She began her career performing at The Second City in Chicago before writing for *Saturday Night Live* from 2004 to 2006.

From 2009 to 2010 she worked as a writer and story editor on the NBC series *Community*, also appearing in the first season as Gail the School Counselor. Her other writing credits include *In the Motherhood* (2009), *Up All Night* (2011) and *The Last Man on Earth* (2015–2017). She has acted in films including *Forgetting Sarah Marshall* (2008), *Neighbors* (2014) and its 2016 sequel, *Licorice Pizza* (2021) and *Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers* (2022).

Cackowski's brother is comedian Craig Cackowski. She is married to Akiva Schaffer.
