## Biography

Liz Hannah is an American screenwriter, producer and director. She was born in New York City in 1985.

Her breakthrough came with the screenplay for Steven Spielberg’s *The Post* (2017), co-written with Josh Singer, which earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Screenplay and a Writers Guild of America Award. Subsequent credits include the screenplays for *Long Shot* (2019), *All the Bright Places* (2020) and *Lee* (2023), on which she also served as executive producer. She co-created and wrote the limited series *The Girl from Plainville* (2022) and has contributed teleplays to *Mindhunter* and *The Dropout*.
