Liz McGregor is a costume designer born on 8 January 1973 in Nuku'alofa, Tongatapu, Tonga, and based in Auckland, New Zealand. She began working in the film industry as a wardrobe assistant on *The Piano* (1993) and later served as assistant costume designer on *Blood Diamond* (2006) and *Mulan* (2020), and as costume supervisor on *Without a Paddle* (2004) and *The Light Between Oceans* (2016).

McGregor has received costume design credits on *Yogi Bear* (2010), *6 Days* (2017), *No Exit* (2022), *The Convert* (2024) and the live-action *Moana* (2026). She won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Costume Design/Styling for the television series *The New Legends of Monkey* (2018–2020) and has received New Zealand film and television awards and nominations.
