## Biography

Lizzie Rose is a Canadian-American screenwriter and director working in narrative and documentary film. She received a BA in English Literature from Harvard University, where she studied documentary filmmaking through the Sensory Ethnography Lab, and an MFA in Screenwriting from Columbia University in 2017.

Her short film *The Law of Averages* (2017) premiered at Clermont-Ferrand and won jury prizes at Tallinn Black Nights and Provincetown International Film Festival. Rose wrote for the Netflix series *Russian Doll* (2019), including a teleplay credit on a 2022 episode, and co-wrote the 2020 television special *Sarah Cooper: Everything's Fine*. She has also contributed to other shorts and is developing feature projects.
