## Biography

Lloyd Ahlquist, also known as EpicLLOYD, is an American actor, improviser, rapper and writer. He is best known as the co-creator, with Peter Shukoff (Nice Peter), of the YouTube series *Epic Rap Battles of History*, which began in 2010.

Ahlquist trained in improv comedy at institutions including Second City and iO Theater. He has appeared in television series such as *The League* (2009) as Dr Andre Nodick and *Key & Peele* (2012) as the Rap Battle Host, and in films including *Dirty 30* (2016) and *The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water* (2015).
