Lon Zimmet is an American television writer and producer. Born on 3 January 1981 in Manalapan, New Jersey, he began his career writing for comedy series including *Men at Work* (2012) and *Happy Endings* (2012–2013).

He wrote an episode of *Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt* (2015) and served as supervising producer on the series, for which he received a Primetime Emmy nomination. Zimmet created the Fox sitcom *LA to Vegas* (2018) and has written and produced for *The Michael J.
