## Biography

Loni Peristere is an American television director, producer and former visual effects supervisor. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1971, he began his career in visual effects as a coordinator on the 1997 film *Volcano*. He later served as visual effects supervisor on series including *Buffy the Vampire Slayer*, *Angel* and *Firefly*, winning an Emmy Award for the latter. He is a co-founder of visual effects studio Zoic Studios.

Peristere began directing in 2014, helming and producing episodes of *Banshee*. He has directed multiple episodes of *American Horror Story* and worked on series including *The Witcher*, *House of the Dragon*, *Warrior* and *9-1-1*.
