## Biography

Lou Holtz Jr. is a screenwriter. His only credited feature is the 1996 black comedy *The Cable Guy*, directed by Ben Stiller and starring Jim Carrey.

Holtz wrote the screenplay while working as a prosecutor in the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office. It was his first script and was acquired by Columbia Pictures after a bidding war.

He is the son of actor Lou Holtz.
