## Biography

Lou Lombardo (1932–2002) was an American film editor, producer and director. He edited *Moonstruck* (1987), directed by Norman Jewison, as well as *The Wild Bunch* (1969) for Sam Peckinpah and several films for Robert Altman, including *McCabe & Mrs. Miller* (1971) and *The Long Goodbye* (1973).

Born in Missouri, Lombardo began his career as a cameraman in Kansas City before moving to Los Angeles. He worked on more than twenty-five feature films and also directed *Russian Roulette* (1975) and produced *Up in Smoke* (1978).
