## Biography

Lou Shaw (c. 1925 – 11 February 2015) was an American television writer and producer. He worked on numerous series from the late 1950s to the mid-1980s, including writing episodes of *Mission: Impossible* (1966), *Columbo* (1971), *The Six Million Dollar Man* (1974) and *The Fall Guy* (1981).

Shaw co-created the medical drama *Quincy, M.E.* (1976) with Glen A. Larson. He shared an Edgar Award in 1978 for the episode "The Thighbone Is Connected To The Knee Bone". He also wrote the play *Worse Than Murder*.
