Lü Liping is a Chinese actress. Born in Beijing on 3 April 1960, she graduated from the Central Academy of Drama in 1984 and was assigned to the Shanghai Film Studio.

She is known for her performances in *The Blue Kite* (1993) as Chen Shujuan, *Old Well* (1987), *24 City* (2008) and *Under the Hawthorn Tree* (2010). She has received awards including the Golden Rooster Award for Best Supporting Actress for *Old Well*, the Golden Horse Award for Best Actress for *City Monkey* (2010), and Best Actress at the Tokyo International Film Festival for *The Blue Kite*. She has also won Flying Apsaras Awards and Golden Eagle Awards.
