## Biography

Lucy Phelps is a British actor. She trained at LAMDA, where she performed at the Tricycle Theatre, the Globe and the Royal Court, as well as at the school’s in-house theatre. Before drama school she gained a Double Starred First in French and Spanish from the University of Exeter.

Phelps is known for her television roles, including DC Jess Lombard in the crime drama *The Chelsea Detective* (2022–). Other credits include Saskia Cobb in *Grace* (2022), Laura Milne in *DI Ray* (2022), and appearances in *Midsomer Murders*, *Call the Midwife*, *New Tricks*, *Holby City* and *The Coroner*. On stage she has performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company, playing Isabella in *Measure for Measure* (2019) and Rosalind in *As You Like It* (2019).
