## Biography

Luis De Lima (1925–2002) was a Portuguese actor and director. Born in Lisbon, he played Bernardo in Henri-Georges Clouzot's *The Wages of Fear* (1953), his sole credited appearance in non-Brazilian cinema.

He later settled in Brazil and built a long career as a character actor in television, with roles in many telenovelas including extended runs in *A História de Ana Raio e Zé Trovão* (1990–1991) and *Esperança* (2002–2003).
