## Biography

Luis Salinas is a Mexican film producer. He graduated with a film degree from the Centro de Estudios en Ciencias de la Comunicación and began working in production on features including *Espinas*, *Cañitas*, *Euforia* and *Érase una vez en Durango*.

In 2008 he co-founded Machete Producciones with Edher Campos and Rodrigo Bello Noble. His credits as producer include *The Golden Dream* (2013), *Sonora, the Devil's Highway* (2018), *No, porque me enamoro* (2020) and *On the Road* (2025). He has also directed short films and a documentary.
