## Biography

Lukas Reiter is an American television writer and producer. He trained as a lawyer, earning a BS from Northwestern University and a JD from Temple University Beasley School of Law, before working as an assistant district attorney in Queens County, New York.

Reiter began his television career writing for *The Practice* (1997), later contributing to *Boston Legal* (2004) as a writer and supervising producer. He has written episodes for *Close to Home*, *The Forgotten*, *Outlaw* and *The Blacklist* (2013), and served as executive producer on the latter. He created the series *The Firm* (2012) and co-created *The Blacklist: Redemption* (2017).

Reiter received an Edgar Award nomination and a Humanitas Prize for his work on *The Practice*. He is married to actress Elizabeth Bogush.
