## Biography

Luke Geissbühler is an American cinematographer and producer. Born in Philadelphia on 21 January 1970, he graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film and Television. He is the son of graphic designer Steff Geissbühler and lives in Brooklyn, New York.

He worked as cinematographer on *Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan* (2006) and its sequel *Borat Subsequent Moviefilm* (2020), as well as on *Robots* (2023), where he was also credited as co-producer. His other credits include the documentaries *Helvetica* (2007) and *Fahrenheit 11/9* (2018).

Geissbühler received an Academy Award nomination for the short film *Time Freak* (2011) and an Emmy Award for the documentary *Street Gang: How We Got to Sesame Street* (2021).
