## Biography

Lynda Day George is an American actress. Born Lynda Louise Day, she began her career as a model with the Eileen Ford agency before appearing on Broadway in *The Devils*. She moved to Los Angeles and took guest roles in 1960s television series including *Bonanza*, *The Fugitive* and *Route 66*.

She is best known for playing Lisa Casey in the final two seasons of *Mission: Impossible* (1971–1973), a role that earned her a Golden Globe nomination in 1972 and an Emmy nomination in 1973. She appeared in numerous other television series and films, among them *Chisum* (1970), *Wonder Woman* (1975), *Roots* (1977), *Pieces* (1982) and *Murder, She Wrote* (1984). She reprised the role of Lisa Casey in the 1988 revival of *Mission: Impossible*.

Day George was married to actor Christopher George from 1970 until his death in 1983; the couple co-starred in several television films and features.
