## Biography

Lynne Kitei is an American actor and physician. She played Florence Arizona in the Coen brothers film *Raising Arizona* (1987).

Before training in medicine, she appeared in more than thirty professional musical comedy productions, including *Alice in Wonderland*, *Oklahoma!*, *Guys and Dolls* and an understudy role in *The Sound of Music*.

Kitei later authored the book *The Phoenix Lights: A Skeptic's Discovery That We Are Not Alone* and directed the related 2005 documentary.
