## Biography

M. Pam Blumenthal was an American television editor. She worked on numerous sitcoms from the 1970s onwards, including as editor on *The Bob Newhart Show* (1972–1978) and *Taxi* (1978–1983).

Blumenthal edited 106 episodes of *Taxi*. She received Primetime Emmy Awards for her work on the series in 1979 and 1981, along with further nominations and wins for *The Tracey Ullman Show*.
