## Biography

Maher Ahmad is an American production designer and art director. Born in Pennsylvania, he trained in theatre and worked as a set designer in Chicago before transitioning to film in the 1980s.

He served as art director on films including *GoodFellas* (1990) and *The Fugitive* (1993). As production designer, his credits include *DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story* (2004), *Zombieland* (2009), *The Hangover Part III* (2013), *Gangster Squad* (2013) and *Doctor Sleep* (2019). He was nominated for a 1978 Joseph Jefferson Award for scenic design.
