Mairead McKinley is a Northern Irish actress. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where she won the Pauline Siddle Award.

Her film credits include the role of Wilde Housemaid in *Velvet Goldmine* (1998), a barmaid in *Edge of Tomorrow* (2014) and the title role in *Molly's Way* (2005), for which she received several best actress awards. On television she has appeared in *Father Ted* (1995) as Sister Monica, *Vera* (2011) as Rene O'Brien and *My Mad Fat Diary* (2013) as Liam's Mum.

McKinley's extensive theatre work includes productions at the National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal Court. She won the TMA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in 2002 for *The Clearing*.
