## Biography

Mairzee Almas is a Canadian television director from Vancouver, British Columbia. She trained as an actress at the F.T.S. Performing Arts Conservatory and graduated from the Foundation Film Program at Vancouver Film School. She began her career in production roles, working as a first assistant director on numerous film and television projects before directing episodes of *Smallville* and *Da Vinci's Inquest*.

Almas has directed over seventy episodes of television, including episodes of *Being Human* (2011), *The 100*, *Outlander*, *Lucifer*, *The Sandman*, *Shadow and Bone*, *Locke & Key* and *Monarch: Legacy of Monsters*.
