## Biography

Malcolm Spellman is an American screenwriter and producer. He wrote the screenplay for the film *Our Family Wedding* (2010) and episodes of the television series *Empire* (2015–2017), on which he also served as co-executive producer.

Spellman was showrunner, writer and executive producer on the Disney+ series *The Falcon and the Winter Soldier* (2021). He co-wrote the story and screenplay for *Captain America: Brave New World* (2025) and has worked as writer and executive producer on the series *Bel-Air* (2022–).
